We have learned with deep regret of the death of Mr. C. J. T. Mackie, which occurred suddenly in London on January 8th. Mr. Mackie had been assistant secretary of the Institution of Chemical Engineers for the past twenty-seven years, and for the greater part of that time was responsible for the administration and financial work of that Institution.
