1978 Electrical and Industrial Securities acquired the aircraft pump subsidiary of Weir Group, C. F. Taylor, which strengthened its aircraft components activities[2]

1998 Acquired by TI Group; the aircraft galley business was then sold to an American company; the airfame components business was integrated into Dowty Aerospace[3]
