1900 The company was registered on 15 November to take over the business and properties of the British and Colonial Steam Navigation Co, and other steamship lines. [1]

From 1903 the Anglo-Arabian and Persian Steamship Company operated jointly with Bucknall Steamship Line carrying oil prospectors' equipment, stores and personnel to the Gulf.
