c.1902 Herbert William Bamber accepted the position of works manager in the automobile department of the Brush Electrical Engineering Company.
1902 January. Commencing to manufacture automobiles. Two models (two and four cylinder) [1]

1905 March. Details of their petrol omnibus.[5]
1907 May. Brush had taken a lease of the works of the British Automobile Development Co, adjoining the Brush works at Loughborough, and were producing motor omnibuses and every type of commercial motor vehicle[6].
