From Graces Guide

67 Blythswood Street, Glasgow

1932 Lt. Colonel P. Brodie Hepburn founded the whisky broking firm of Brodie Hepburn.[1]

1948 Brodie Hepburn Limited was registered, with capital of £30,000, to carry on business as wine and spirit brokers, agents and merchants.[2]

1972 It was announced that Invergordon Distillers had acquired Brodie Hepburn for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition gave Invergordon control of Tullibardine Distillery, a 30% stake in Deanston Distillery, and a 25% holding in Doune Products, the distillery by-products consortium who specialised in animal feedstuffs. Invergordon indicated that it was their intention to discontinue the Brodie Hepburn broking business.[3]
