1877 The British Piano Manufacturing Co was established in Crown Place.

Built Windover pianos

1929 Listed Exhibitor - Manufacturers of Grand and Upright Pianos, Player Pianos, Gramophones, Gramophone and Wireless Cabinets. (Stand Nos. N.26 and N.27)

1929 The premises, equipment and stock at Kentish Town was advertised for sale on behalf of the British Pianoforte Manufacturing Co.

2001 Bentley Pianos moved back to Woodchester Mills to form part of the British Piano Manufacturing Company Ltd, along with Broadwood, Knight, Welmar, and Woodchester pianos.

2003 April: the British Piano Manufacturing Co. Ltd. went into voluntary liquidation, taking with it Bentley pianos.
