1893 Took over Leonard, Boult and Co

1894 Bennett family, who owned Dean Lane Colliery in Bedminster, acquired Easton, Hanham, Pennywell Road and Whitehall to form Bristol United Collieries Ltd.

1900 Bedminster, Easton, Kingswood and Parkfield Collieries Ltd. formed following the acquisition of Deep Pit, Speedwell, Parkfield and South Pit collieries.
