1840 A member of the Buller family (might this have been John Divett, a Buller by marriage?) founded a pottery in Bovey Tracey

1843 Company established.

1865 A Buller's pottery (presumably W. W. Buller and Co) was moved from Bovey Tracey to Hanley, Staffs

1877 Special Resolution for Liquidation by Arrangement of the affairs of Wentworth William Buller, of Chapple, Bovey Tracey, in the county of Devon, Potter and Maker of Earthenware, carrying on business in partnership with John Divett, of Bovey Tracey aforesaid, under the firm of the Bovey Tracey Pottery Company.

1877 Dissolution of the Partnership between Wentworth William Buller, of Chappie - in - Bovey Tracey, in the county of Devon, Esq., and John Divett, of Bovey Tracey, in the county of Devon, Esq., under the style or firm of the Bovey Tracey Pottery Company. The business of the Bovey Tracey Pottery Company was carried on by the said John Divett and John Hellyer Tozer, of Teignmouth, in Devon, Gentleman, under the style or firm of the Bovey Tracey Pottery Company[1]

1881 John Divett was managing partner; the pottery had 195 employees[2]

1882 Dissolution of the Partnership between John DivetV of Bovey Tracey, in the county of Devon, and John Hellyer Tozer, of Teignmouth, in the same county, carryingon business as Potters and Makers of Earthenware, at Bovey Tracey, in the said county of Devon, under the style or firm of the Bovey Tracey Pottery Company. The business of the Bovey Tracey Pottery Company was continued by John Divett, under the style or firm aforesaid.[3]
