One of the Royal Navy's patrol vessels, the first operational gas turbine powered warship.

1951 Built by Vosper fitted with Metropolitan-Vickers: G2 engine

1953 Sea trials of what was said to be the first operational gas turbine powered warship. The gas turbine was derived from the Gatric engine; first trials of a gas turbine powered vessel had taken place about 5 years previously.[1]. The gas turbine was installed in combination with (a pair of Napier) diesel engines[2]
