Bodley and Garner
Architects, specialising in churches
1868-9 George Frederick Bodley suffered a serious illness which left him badly lame which prompted him to take Thomas Garner, a former pupil of George Gilbert Scott, into an informal partnership.
As the partnership developed, it became the practice of the two to give separate attention to separate works.
