Betty Haig (1906-1987), grand niece of Field-Marshal the Earl Haig

1946 Soon after the war Miss Haigh began competing in European rallies and took part in the first post-war rally, the Alpine.

1951 Co-drove with Yvonne Simon in the Le Mans 24-hour Race in a V12 Ferrari.

In hill climbing she has held the ladies' record at Prescott for six years
