Career: 1886-89—Engr. with Indian Midland Railway.; constructed Pahooj Dam for Jhansi Waterworks, and 23 miles of main line; 1889-91— Delhi-Umballa-Kalka Railway., constructed 20 miles, and Kalka Terminal Station; 1891-99—In Divisional charge of the last 300 miles of the East Coast Railway. between Vizagapatam and Cuttack; 1897-1902— Engr., E.B. Railway., Calcutta Dis.; 1902-10—Chief Engr. for Maintenance and Construction, Central South African Railways:; 1910-12—Cons. Engr., Victoria Street, Westminster; Surveys for Railways. in Portuguese E. Af., French Congo and Belgian Congo; 1912-21 with Lever Brothers, on development work at home and abroad.
