1870s The partnership took over the Walker Ironworks, Newcastle-on-Tyne.

1877 Partnership dissolved between James Cartmell Ridley, Joshua Henry Bell, and John Lowthian Bell, at Walker, as Iron Manufacturers, under the firm of Bell, Ridley, and Bell. All debts will be met by Joshua Henry Bell and John Lowthian Bell.[1]
