1920 Company founded

1949 Became private company. Belgrave (Blackheath) Ltd was incorporated to acquire the business Belgrave Engineering Co carried on by Henry Pittaway and Charles Henry Pittaway.

1953 Belgrave (Blackheath) Ltd became public company

1961 General engineers, manufacturing hot, cold and electrically upset steel forgings, for motor car manufacturers, agricultural implements markets, railways and mining machinery manufacturers. Also manufacture nuts and bolts, and described as one of the largest manufacturers in the United Kingdom of valve forgings for internal combustion engines. 800 employees.[1]

By 1974 The Globe Manufacturing Co Ltd and G. and A. Finney Ltd were subsidiaries[2]

1982 Re-registered as Belgrave (Blackheath) plc

1984 Belgrave (Blackheath) plc was re-registered as Belgrave Holdings plc
