1964 Three Star (Luton) changed its name to Balmforth Engineering.[1]
By 1964 was owned by General and Engineering Industries.[2]
1970 Had developed a more advanced design of night storage heater and extended the range of library shelving.[3]
1973 Transport and Chemical Engineering acquired Balmforth Engineering of Luton.[4].
1973 Sold surplus land at Luton. Had decided to get out of textile machinery so would sell the 80 percent interest in Adamson Machines of Leeds.[5]
1984 Supplied library shelving to the University of Exeter.[6]
