1877 Robert Balderston, agent for J. B. Hoyt & Co, belting manufacturers, New York, 174 West George Street, Glasgow.[1]

1917 Balderston and Company Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £1,000, to carry on the business of merchants, brokers and importers.[2]

1929 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[3]
