Baker and Hurtzig

1898 on the death of Sir John Fowler, the firm of Fowler and Baker became Baker & Hurtzig

1906 Worked on a proposed Government Arsenal and Dock at Jacuacanga, Brazil

1907 On the death of Sir Benjamin Baker, Arthur Cameron Hurtzig, Mr Hurtzig became the head of the firm. He completed Sir Benjamin Baker's work for the Egyptian Government in respect of the raising of the Assuan Dam and the building of the Isna Barrage.

1908 Designed the steelwork for the two centre spans of the Liao River Railway Bridge, Manchuria.[1]
