1903 Bain, Morrison and Co were listed as timber merchants in Lewis Street, Stornoway.[1]

1947 Bain, Morrison and Company Limited was incorporated, with capital of £12,000, to take over as a going concern the business of timber merchants and builders' merchants carried on under the firm name of Bain, Morrison and Co at 18-20 Lewis Street, Stornoway.[2]

2011 Grafton Merchanting GB acquired the company, described as a single branch merchant in Stornoway.[3]
