B. Lebrun
Lebrun of Nimy, was a Belgian pioneer of the cooling industry, and was known among the greatest names in the field of European industrial refrigeration.
1876 Business started.
1880 Description of a horizontal condensing engine, with expansion automatically controlled by the governor, exhibited at the Brussels Exhibition by B. Lebrun and Co., of Nimy. Each end of the cylinder had separate slide valves for inlet and exhaust. The inlet valves were opened by cams and closed by steam pressure, while the exhaust valves were opened and closed by cams.[2]. See illustration.
