2000 GEC sold Avery Berkel to the American company Weigh-Tronix Inc. of America. After the take-over by Weigh-Tronix the company was renamed as Avery Weigh-Tronix. [1]
Avery Weigh-Tronix is now owned by ITW (Illinois Tool Works). The extent of UK development and manufacture (if any) is not made clear in their website.
