Auto Wheel Motorette

From Graces Guide

Auto Wheel Motorette was a scooter produced from 1921 to 1922.

Gamages of London were major spares and accessories retailers. They were nationally known and often sold complete machines, some with their own name, but always manufactured by other companies. The crude and unsprung Auto Wheel Motorette was a simple scooter powered by an Auto Wheel unit that replaced the rear wheel. The short-lived success of the machine was due to the fact that Gamages under-cut the listed retail price.
