1898 Obituary [1]

AUGUSTE BIOT died of yellow fever at Rio de Janiero in May 1898. He was a graduate of the St. Etienne School of Mines, and was blast-furnace manager at the Esperanca Ironworks, Brazil.

He was a member of the French Society of Civil Engineers, and was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in May last.
