Arthur Wilfred Mansfield (1883-1939)

Arthur Wilfred Mansfield was born in 1883, and was a prominent member of the motor industry in Eastbourne.

In 1910 he was appointed Manager of the Eastbourne and District Motor Cab Co and was subsequently associated with Eastbourne Motors.

On the amalgamation of this firm with Caffyns he was appointed General Manager of that Company.

In 1922 he established his own business in Eastbourne as a Ford Dealer, and when the business was converted to a Limited Company he was appointed Managing Director.

He died on i4th February, 1939, at the age of 55.

He was elected an Associate Member in 1914.
