1901 Living at Arndell House, Benhill Wood Road. Sutton, Surrey: Arthur Carpmael (age 64 born London), Patent Agent. With his wife Rebecca Carpmael (age 55 born Tasmania) and their two children Beatrice Carpmael (age 25 born Sutton) and Arthur Carpmael (age 21 born Sutton). Two servants.[1]

1909. 'Arthur Carpmael. Arndell House, Benhill Wood Road. Sutton, Surrey, was summoned for obstructing Coventry Road for hours with a motor-car on March 19th.—Defendant pleaded not guilty.'[2]

1911 Living at The White House, Renfrew Road, Coombe Warren, Kingston On Thames: Arthur Carpmael (age 31 born Sutton) and his wife Gwendoline Carpmael (age 29 born Plumstead Common). One servant.[3]
