1791 Archibald Kenrick set up an iron foundry business in West Bromwich.
1812 Archibald's nephew Samuel Kenrick joined him and the company name became Archibald Kenrick and Co
1818 Further purchases of land to expand the Spon Lane Works
1827 Name changed to Archibald Kenrick and Sons when Archibald Kenrick, Junior became a partner with his father Archibald Kenrick
