The Annandale Tile Co Ltd

1842 John Gibson and Son was established, a partnership of roofing contractors

1965 the partnership started to manufacture concrete roofing tiles at Lochmaben near Dumfries.

1973 Annandale Tile Co was incorporated.

Most of the production went to associated companies, Strathclyde Roofing Co Ltd, Fraser Roofing Ltd, both roofing contractors, and to Annandale's own supply and fix division.
