1977 The parent company bought various US companies which were taken into the Amey Roadstone organisation[2]
1983 Aggregates was the major division of the company, together with ARC Concrete and AR Construction as well as the American business[3].
Major projects undertaken by Amey Roadstone Construction included Mount Pleasant Airfield completed in 1986.
1989 After acquisition by Hanson, Amey was separated from ARC
1995 Amey was relisted on the Stock Exchange with a strategic focus on support service delivery
