1946 Incorporated as a Public Limited Company to amalgamate the Bocnal Tobacco Co and Fifteens Tobacco Co.[1]

1950 Acquired the Walker's Tobacco Co.[2]

1950 The 4th Ordinary General Meeting.[3]

1958 Acquired an 80% stake in Cadulac Chemicals and all of the share capital of Tewel Industries.[4]

1958 Acquired the London Cremation Co.[5]

1959 The company ceased manufacturing cigarettes at its Luton factory.[6]

1961 Acquired the Doran Engineering Co.[7]

1961 Name changed to London Midland Industrials.[8]
