Amalgamated Pneumatic Tyre Companies Limited of Parkside, Coventry

1897 Amalgamated Pneumatic Tyre Companies Limited formed as a public company to take over the Beeston Pneumatic Tyre Co, Scotts Standard Pneumatic Tyre Co and the Woodley tyres part of the Hyde Imperial Rubber Co and to include the licences of the Turner Pneumatic Tyre Co. Tyres would be made under the Dunlop and Welch patents. Agreement that Beeston Tyre Rim Co Ltd would supply rims on beneficial terms; in case of failure of this, Dunlop Pneumatic Tyre Co had licence Amalgamated to manufacture Westwood rims on terms similar to those of the Cycle Components Manufacturing Co Ltd[1] [2] Directors were:
