1960 W. H. Allen, Sons and Co acquired William Foster and Co, including its wholly owned subsidiary Gwynnes Pumps Ltd[1].

1963 Gwynnes Pumps at Lincoln was renamed Allen Gwynne Pumps, with staff transferred to Lincoln from Bedford and Hammersmith, and the old premises sold. [2].

1968 Part of Amalgamated Power Engineering (APE)

1969 APE acquired the industrial pumps business of Vickers based in Barrow in Furness; this took place through APE's Allen Gwynnes Pumps subsidiary[3].
