Sir Alfred Molyneux Palmer (c.1853-1935), Tyneside shipbuilder and Chairman of the Tyne Improvement Commission

Son of Sir Charles Mark Palmer, Liberal M.P. for Jarrow and founder of the Palmer Iron and Shipbuilding Co.

1910 succeeded to the title on the death of his brother.

Chairman of the Bede Metal and Chemical Co., Ltd., and of Palmer, Hall and Co.
