1861 Alfred Burges 61, civil engineer, lived in Lewisham with Alfred Burges 21[4]
1881 Alfred Burgess 79, retired civil engineer, widower, lived in East Preston, Sussex, with Mary R. Burgess 33, Elizabeth M. Burgess 12, Eleanor Burgess 9[5]
1886 March 12th. Alfred Burges died at Worthing.
