Alexander Henderson
one of the most prominent coachbuilders in Glasgow
1897 Mr. Alexander Henderson, the junior partner of the firm, served an apprenticeship in one of the old aristocratic coachbuilding houses in London, studying in the evenings at a Technical School, where he obtained a first-class certificate, with honours. Having obtained a thorough practical knowledge of his business in London, he joined his brother in Glasgow; and the two partners invested their combined knowledge and skill as the mental capital of the firm. Mr. Alexander Henderson is an honorary member of St. Mark's Technical College, London, and local secretary of the Master Coachbuilders' Benevolent Institution. Long detailed article[1]
