Albion Bridge Chemical Co

From Graces Guide

of Hulme Hall Lane, Miles Platting, Manchester.

1963 photo of works here[1].

By referring to the 1915/1922 O.S. map[2], it appears that the camerman was standing on the bridge over the Rochdale Canal and looking north westwards up Hulme Hall Lane and its junction with Albion Street. The map shows a small iron foundry, Albion Foundry, behind the chemical works. The white building in the photo is at the junction with Vickers Street, which runs parallel to the canal, the street and canal serving more and larger chemical works.

1963 The company was wound up voluntarily[3]
