1897 '...the Albert Docks Engineering Works do the work of the British India, the New Zealand, and the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Companies.'[1]
1906 Albert Dock Engine Works Limited was registered as a private company, with capital of £12,000, to take over the business of marine engineers, ship and dock owners, ship agents, builders, and repairers of vessels, carried on at Albert Dock, East Ham, as the Albert Dock Engine Works, and the lease of certain premises at the Albert Dock, and to adopt an agreement with W. A. Buchanan.[2]
1914 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[3]
