1923 Sadia Ltd incorporated to market water heaters from Switzerland.

1932 the first British made Sadia water heaters were made by Aidas Electric Ltd. At some later point the company name was changed to Sadia

1932 Became private company.

1938 Established premises at Northolt

1948 The South African subsidiary was formed

1956 the Netherlands subsidiary was formed.

1960 Established factory at Old Sarum in addition to the Northolt factory

1961 Electrical water heater manufacturers, specialising in Sadia electrical heaters. 750 employees. [1]

1966 Sadia Ltd went public as a holding company for Sadia Water Heaters Ltd, manufacturers of electric water heaters, immersion heaters and thermostats.

1970 Acquired Sadia Airofreeze Ltd.

1972 Concentrated operations at Salisbury

1974 The Delta Metal Company Ltd controlled 31 per cent of Sadia Ltd; 37 per cent was controlled by the Chairman of Sadia Ltd and Trustees.

1974 Acquired by Charter Consolidated; became part of Heatrae-Sadia
