1914 Inglis M. Upperçu founded the company which was located at Keyport, NJ,

Aeromarine built mostly military seaplanes and flying boats, as well as aero-engines.

From 1928 to 1930 it was known as the Aeromarine-Klemm Corporation, producing mainly Klemm aircraft.

1930 Aeromarine went out of business; production of Aeromarine engines was continued by the Uppercu-Burnelli Corporation.
