Produced the Appareil d’Acklin. Acklin replaced the punched card in Jacquard’s loom by punched paper rolls. An Advertising card for the Acklin apparatus, with an attached sample of punched paper, from the 1855 Paris Universal Exhibition is held by the bibliothèque numérique de Lyon. [1]
