1935 Died. 'Albert Percy Hann (45), formerly a noted racing motorist, was torpedoed during the Great War. It affected his nerves, which had never been the same since. Friday last he gassed himself at his apartments in Kensington, and at the inquest to-day verdict of suicide while of unsound mind was returned. The Coroner, Mr Ingteby Oddie, said was worried about his financial position and failing prospects, and apparently yielded to a fit of intense depression to take his life. Evidence was given that Hann, who used to race at Brooklands, was a married man separated from his wife. A sister said he was made bankrupt in 1919. and had not been able get his discharge.'[1]
