Sir Algernon Arthur St Lawrence Lee Guinness, 3rd Baronet (1883–1954)

1883 Born in London son of Benjamin Lee Guinness and Henrietta Eliza Guinness[1]. Older brother of Kenelm Lee Guinness.

1904 started motor racing

1905 drove in Eliminating races for Gordon Bennett Isle of Man race

1906 Race at Newtownards, Northern Ireland

1908 Mr A. Lee Guinness was a noted racing driver, entering a Darracq in the "Four Inch Race" on the Isle of Man, and driving another Darracq; also in the race was Mr K. Lee Guinness who drove a Hillman-Coatalen.[2]

1909 owned the 200 h.p. Darracq, with speed of 122 m.p.h. at Saltbourn, Yorkshire

WWI Acting Lieut. Commander R.N.V.R. at sea

1922 retired after winning the 1,500 c.c. Tourist Trophy

Permanent steward at Brooklands.
