Shipowners and shipbrokers, forwarding agents, with regular services from Manchester and Liverpool to Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Russia.

1898 Established by Alfred Coker, joined in 1907 by Alfred Coker junior. The founder was partner from 1871 in the firm of W. H. Stott and Co, later Stott, Coker and Co.

1914 A. Coker and Company Limited was registered as a private limited company on 31st December, the directors being Alfred Coker, Alfred Coker junior, Henry William Coker, and John James Peters.[1]
