1881 Established by A. B. Crichton.

1911 A. B. Crichton and Company Limited was registered as a private company, with capital of £20,000, to acquire as a going concern the business of merchants and manufacturers of school bags and satchels, weavers of jute, etc. carried on by Alex Black Crichton at Wallace Works, Arthurstone Terrace, and Dens Road, Dundee, under the style of Alex B. Crichton and Co.[1]

1922 The company went into voluntary liquidation.[2]
