Election of the Council.
The annual general meeting of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders was held last Thursday afternoon at Maxwell House, Arundel street, Strand, Mr. Sidney Straker presiding.
The report and accounts, which showed that £10,000 had been invested in securities, having been unanimously adopted, the chairman stated that the position of the Society was most satisfactory, more than thirty firms having joined since January 1st.
The action of the Society with regard to the British importers section received the fullest approval.
The result of the postal ballot for the 30 members of the council was declared, the following being elected:-
