New splint for fractured thigh, with a leather belt for the chest, perineal band, boot and knee straps. The object of this apparatus is to apply and maintain firm extension, in a line parallel with the axis of the body, which can be exactly regulated by means of the thumbscrew at the end; also by keeping the limb uncovered (as by bandages, etc.) to permit the free use of local applications and adjustments.
