A series of machines to supersede the necessity of clickers in the cutting of women's and children's goods in the boot and shoe trade. The process is the sole invention of the patentee, and has been in operation for upwards of twelve months. The advantages of this new system are as follow:— That six hundred dozens of boot-linings can be properly prepared for the binders in twelve hours; and that the skins used in the above manufacture can be prepared for the binder in one-tenth part of the time now required, and at a less cost.

A machine for modelling instep pieces for ladies' and children's boots and shoes.

A series of pattern-printing blocks for printing every description of leather, etc., used in the boot and shoe trade.
