Patent turnip-cutter, to cut for sheep by turning it one way, and, by reversal of motion, to cut for other purposes. In this machine the knives that cut for sheep have an oblique edge; there is a grating under the barrel of the machine, by which the last piece of each turnip is prevented from escaping unslit; and the hopper has a rocking motion, by which the wedging-up of the turnips is prevented.
