1853 the Partnership carried on by John Wilson Hawksworth, Joshua Moss, and Joseph Ellison, as Merchants and Manufacturers, Steel Converters, and Refiners, General Factors, and Dealers in Iron and Steel, and in all matters relating thereto, at Sheffield, and in the United States of North America, and in Canada, under the style or firm, in England and elsewhere (except in the United States of North America and in Canada), of Wilson, Hawksworth, Moss, and Ellison, and in the United States and in Canada, of Wilson, Hawksworth, Ellison, and Moss, expired by effluxion of time, on the 1st day of July instant and that all debts due and owing to and from the said partnership will be received and paid by the said John Wilson Hawksworth and Joseph Ellison, who will in future carry on the said trades and businesses.[1]
