Paul - I don't think so. The name caused me some trouble, as most of my references simply refer to Walker's of Rotherham. However, Cossons and Trinder in 'The Iron Bridge', say that Walker ironworks at Rotherham was established by Samuel, Jonathan, and Aaron Walker. No mention of Joshua in the index of that book. | |||

I notice this reference to Walker of Rotherham - could this perhaps be Joshua Walker and Co of Rotherham rather than Samuel Walker of Masbrough?
Paul .......... Paul - I don't think so. The name caused me some trouble, as most of my references simply refer to Walker's of Rotherham. However, Cossons and Trinder in 'The Iron Bridge', say that Walker ironworks at Rotherham was established by Samuel, Jonathan, and Aaron Walker. No mention of Joshua in the index of that book.
