1840 Born the son of James Watts

1841 Living at Faith's Lane, Norwich: James Watts (age c36), Engineer. With Rebecca Watts (age c36); William Watts (age c25); Charles Watts (age c12); Alfred Watts (age c7); and Frederick Watts (age c5 months).[1]

1851 Living at 5 Victoria Terrace, Norwich: James Watts (age 46 born Norwich), Engineer, Iron and Brass Founder, employing 6 men. With his wife Rebecca Watts (age 46 born Norwich) and their six children; Alfred E. Watts (age 17 born Norwich), Engineer; Frederic A.
