- 1908 The company was established by Frank Frederick Pershke and originally called the Victoria Press Manufacturing Company, in order to distribute the Heidenau Victoria platen press.
- 1924 Private company. Pershke, who was an engineer by trade, joined forces with Pierre Bernard Bausch, a merchant, and set up Frank F. Pershke.
- 1931 Bausch incorporated another business under the name of Price Service and Company. Eric Tanzer joined the company as a salesman.
- 1934 Tanzer was appointed director.
- 1947 The company was in need of a new agency and so Tanzer and Pershke travelled to the Leipzig Fair, where they secured the Roland press distributorship. The same year, the company acquired the UK agency for Wohlenberg finishing equipment.
- 1947 Listed Exhibitor - British Industries Fair. Manufacturers of the Automatic Art Platen Printing Machine "Autovic" A.2. Maximum Paper Size 13⅜ x 18⅛". (Olympia Ground Floor, Stand No. B.1475) [1]
- 1951 The first Roland presses to be installed in the UK arrived, with installations at Ben Johnson, Boots and Thomas Waide. The same year also saw the first Drupa exhibition in Germany where Roland launched a four colour press, the first two of which were installed at Purnell in Sunderland.
- 1961 Manufacturers of and retailers handling printing machinery, presses, appliances and materials. [2]
- 1971 The Pershke Price Service Organisation (PPSO) was incorporated.
- 1979 MAN Roland was created as a result of a merger between Roland Offsetmaschinenfabrik and the press division of Maschinenfabrik Augsberg-Nurnberg.
- In 1992, Tanzer retired from PPSO.
- 1994 There was a change of ownership of PPSO with Dutch-based Omnigraph Group taking over the reins.
